The learning models in this research included direct instructional (DI) and teaching game for understanding (TGfU) by Metzler (2000). Kata Kunci: TGfU, direct instructional, pemahaman konsep bermain field game THE INFLUENCES OF LEARNING MODELS ON UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONCEPT OF PLAYING FIELD GAME OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS Abstract: The research was aimed to find influences of two learning models on the basic skills of play and the concept of field game. It was concluded that Bingo Game is effective to teach vocabulary at elementary school.Ībstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dua model pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman konsep bermain field game. Statistical computation using T-test showed that the score of tcount was higher than ttable (7.247 > 2.021) with standard signifcant 5% and degree of freedom was 32. The fnding of this study showed that the mean score of the students after they are taught by using Bingo Game (92.80) was higher than before they are taught by using Bingo Game (75.60). The research design of this research was pre-experimental research design by using one group pre-test post-test with quantitative approach. This study aimed at knowing the effectiveness of Bingo Game to teaching vocabulary at elementary school. This game can be practiced by asking students to remind words they have remembered after the lesson. Bingo Game is one of technique in teaching vocabulary. The teacher introduces the new word to the students and makes the students memorize the vocabulary. ![]() ![]() Learning vocabulary at elementary school means the students get some vocabularies.

![]() Everyone wanted one of these in the 90's. Sometimes its cool, but mostly it's just weird. Wildly impractical but Levey still loves it.ĭodge=Cannondale. Is capable of way more than most owners will ever use it for. Taking an existing platform (Canfield) and making it beautiful. The brand everyone loves to hate but would probably own one if they could. Really hit and miss with the innovations and reliability. Hasn't led the pack in years but has a solid fan base. ![]() Gets a bad reputation from its low end products, but makes some legit high end stuff. It's not great but it's surprisingly good for what it is. Suzuki= Diamondback, the Release is basically the Samurai of MTB. Was competitive once, not currently enjoying much success. Pretty cool, but being the favorite choice of rich hipsters is wearing out their image.Īcura= Ibis. ![]() Affordable, some of their products are kind of decent. A luxury brand within reach of the upper-middle class. ![]() Used to be dependable, all of their models kinda look the same. Too fun not to join in and hopefully hurt somebody's feelings: Heck, I'd say most people buying a frame like this already have a bike so they can probably swap most components and only buy new stuff if it happens to be incompatible. I thought CRC is able to sell their components cheaper than the local bike shop can buy them from the importer (or maybe even from Shimano directly)! So yeah, it may indeed be cheaper to buy the frame and get the components separately. Why would a, by now, established brand lower their prices when demand is this high and they've just got bills to pay? That said, apparently Curtis can make bikes slightly cheaper at this point.Īs for the pricing of full builds, I agree that it largely depends on how much they sell. They've got kids (though I think Tam left the company now, so it is just Burf), they're working their ass off, they've invested in better gear and workshop The build queue is still stacked, you'd say the build quality (concerning how much experience he has now) should be perfect. This is what it was like back then: They just can't keep going like that. I think a BTR frame now is about twice as expensive as they were when they started out. If they're charging less than they should to make a living, something is wrong. This should allow taller riders to feel "in the bike" more without the need to raise their bar height, ultimately leading to chipping away at the reach number.īrands should just charge what they feel they need. Stack heights are on the higher side at 630 mm for the MD and LG (640 for the XL) due to a -40 mm BB drop, keeping in mind that the head tubes are average heights of 110 mm for the smaller size and 120 for the XL. With a head angle of 64º and a seat tube angle of 76º, those numbers aren't wildly progressive, but are a common ground that should bode well for diverse regions. The reach numbers don't stray too far from one another at less than a 20 mm gap between them, starting at 468 mm for the size medium and topping out at 505 for the XL. They say the geometry is well balanced, but the chainstay number jumps off the page with a staggering 467 mm length on all three sizes. However, some of their 27.5" wheeled bikes drop down to size SM, like the Alpine series. Whether or not Orange believes that short riders are better suited to 27.5" wheels, the Stage 6 Evo is only available in MD, LG, and XL sizes. ![]() The skin contains about 72% of the antioxidant vitamin E and bone-strengthening vitamin K. The skin of a medium apple contains a total of 1.3 grams of fiber. ![]() Soluble fiber also helps lower cholesterol levels. ![]() They provide a feeling of satiety, slow down the absorption of nutrients and prevent blood sugar spikes. Soluble fiber becomes jelly-like when mixed with water in the digestive tract. Insoluble fiber prevents constipation by mixing with water and expelling digestive waste through the colon. You get both soluble and insoluble fiber from the skin of an apple, but about 77% of the total is insoluble. You also lose all of the folic acid found in the apple and most of the vitamins E and K. About a third of the fiber in an apple is lost when you get rid of the skin. However, if you do not eat the peel, you will lose important nutrients. Some people just don't like the peel, while others flush the apple peel down the drain for possible pesticide or wax residue. This article looks at the science to determine whether or not to remove the skin from fruits and vegetables. However, removing the skin can mean removing one of the most nutrient-rich parts of the plant. Husks are often discarded out of preference or habit, or in an attempt to reduce exposure to pesticides. However, whether these fruits and vegetables are best eaten with or without the skin is often a matter of debate. There is no denying that eating more fruits and vegetables is good for your health. The peel of an organic type of apple is useful and has many benefits, one way of peeling the apple is to do it by hand but it takes time to do that, and we can use some peeling machine to save our time and energy, but we need to know how to use that machine. The place for this is in a deck like Cyclone Mage, something with a bunch of cheap spells that you want to cycle through quickly so that you can kill opponents quickly and/or generate a bunch of value on the back end with Mana Cyclones. Or maybe you do, and it works there, too, but that's not what I'm here to argue. This isn't a deck you put in Highlander for multiple Puzzle Boxes or into Big Spell Mage in order to turn it into Bigger Spell Mage. I think folks are looking at it completely wrong, looking for highrolls on big spells instead of the natural place: somewhat consistent upgrades on cheap spells. The initial community reactions have mostly ranged from "lol random" to "might be good as a hail Mary," for the most part. And that means casting more cards that actually started in your deck, you lunatics.Deck of Lunacy, 2 mana legendary mage spell: Transform spells in your deck into ones that costs (3) more. We want players to see and know that this is an actively cared for and curated experience." Spell Mage will likely stick around, but it will need to find more fair ways to win. We're a live service game that makes adjustments and content on a regular basis. ![]() Iksar was quoted as saying: "Goal is to adjust power outliers in minor ways rather than clip decks completely out of the meta. With quick intervention, Standard should be interesting again soon. An obvious tweak here is to make it only able to target minions, but Team 5 may also go the nuclear route and bump the card to 2-Mana if they really want to make it unplayable. One final thought on card changes: Pen Flinger is an annoying little jerk who has long overstayed his welcome. A particular problem given how annoying its voice lines are. Pen Flinger has been cast more than twice as many times as the nearest most-played card. ![]() In fact, Mage is the only other class with a winrate over 50 percent. And according to the data it has no natural counter. Paladin as a whole is showing a terrifying 57 percent winrate on the front page of HSReplay at time of writing. The more worrying thing is that Mage isn't even the biggest outlier in terms of power. While it can seem premature to talk about nerfs within the first week of the set's launch, Team 5 moves fast at balancing these days. In a Twitter AMA last Friday, he said: "Generally speaking, Lunacy is not the kind of deck defining card we're happy about being tier 1, so if it's defining the meta in any real capacity it's a clear target for change." Developer communication doesn't get more clear than that, so don't get too attached to your Clefthoofs. Hearthstone's lead designer Dean "Iksar" Ayala made it clear that the current state of affairs is not something the team is happy about. The release of Classic brought lapsed players back to the client, but Deck of Lunacy is giving them something goofy and powerful to do in Standard. Unsurprisingly, No Minion Mage is popular! Thijs hit rank 1 legend, and in a blast from the past, even Savjz was having fun playing constructed Hearthstone again. Lunacy is not the kind of deck defining card we're happy about being tier 1, so if it's defining the meta it's a clear target for change. Aggression has been curtailed so substantially that taking a few turns to set up the rest of the game is a reasonable proposition-and there's not a better setup turn than Deck of Lunacy into Skull of Gul'Dan for 3 Mana. Early board development is severely punished by Mor'Shan Watch Post and even Far Watch Post is enough to force aggressive decks to trade more minions than they can afford. But in the Year of the Gryphon, it's easier than ever to build a defence against that sort of aggression.Īs we've already covered, the new Watch Post cards have transformed Standard into a waiting game. ![]() Both the Aggro and Soul variants of Demon Hunter dealt serious damage from hand very quickly, and even after they were nerfed, the release of Nitroboost Poison shortly thereafter allowed Rogue to pick up the slack. The previous problem for No Minion Mage is that it had a hard time if you kept hitting it in the face, and there was a lot of that going around last November. Once you’ve experienced the ability to see out of the cabin in (almost) any direction, meaningfully use your mirrors at a glance, and look all the way through a corner to the exit it can actually be quite hard to go back to a flat screen. Combined with a wheel it’s arguably the best way. “All this is a real shame because, as I said, VR is an absolutely terrific way to play racing games. It’s all well and good being able to turn and see the meticulously-modelled monster V12 mounted behind your seat, but 98% of the time in a racing game you need have your eyes set on the road in front, as far ahead as feasible, and that happens to be where Driveclub VR is at its ugliest.ĭon't be fooled by these screenshots they're not representative of PSVR. This hardware disparity is completely expected, I know, but it remains exhausting squinting at coloured blobs. I can play sessions of Project CARS in VR on PC that last hours, but I can’t tolerate Driveclub VR for anywhere near the same amount of time. Anything beyond 40-or-so metres ahead of you begins to turn into a low-res globule, which makes it a massive strain to concentrate on upcoming corners, or even look through apexes. At its worst, however, it’s an absolute eyesore. I do really feel seated in a virtual car (a slightly blurry but very authentic virtual car). The way the beating sun even picks up the scuffs on the windscreen from the wipers is a particularly nice touch that’s survived the transition. ![]() ![]() ![]() The way different surfaces absorb and reflect light, from matte-finished dashboards to the glint of polished carbon fibre. There’s an overall softness to the image, like you’re wearing someone else’s glasses and everything’s a fraction out of focus, but the detail achieved in the cabins here is still immense. At its best, Driveclub VR looks far, far better than I’d ever anticipated. “The biggest problem, however, is visual fidelity. According to “Too Big to Fail”, prosecution of even one of those banks could have a seismic impact on the global economy, not to mention politicians’ electoral campaigns. Since then, however, the number of banks in the United States has dropped while the size of major banks has grown exponentially and taken greater control of our global economy. Notably, white collar crime prosecution used to be more prolific in the United States - after the Savings and Loan Scandals of the ’80s, 839 individuals were convicted of fraud. The film’s title is the obverse of the infamous “Too Big to Fail” doctrine, which has been used to justify the US criminal justice system’s failure to criminally indict Wall Street banks after the 2008 financial crisis. But lost in all this sensationalist bluster is the more pervasive, ugly truth about America’s legal system : it’s an aggregation of thousands of quieter trials in which there are no dramatic piques where a tragically inert storyline of unnecessary “zero sum” adversity lumbers to an unsatisfactory ending.ĭirector Steve James’ ( Hoop Dreams, 1994) most recent documentary Abacus: Small Enough To Jail - which examines the Manhattan DA’s Office’s relentless prosecution of the Sung family’s Abacus Federal Savings Bank in Chinatown, New York - is successful at highlighting this unfortunate state, even if it means foregoing a compelling dramatic arc to do so. It’s not the wonderful life the Sung family were planning on, but the Abacus Federal Savings Bank story is a different kind of American dream.Television shows and movies capture the law as a highlight reel of spectacular trials which feature righteous winners and benighted losers. Like George Bailey, and the Cartwright family from “Bonanza” and other fictitious families, the real-life story of the Sungs is one of loyalty and adhering to their code, even as they face losing everything. ![]() ![]() (In one of the more cinematic real-life touches, youngest daughter Chanterelle worked for the district attorney who prosecuted the Sungs, before quitting to become a legal bulldog for her family.) ![]() The Sungs raised three girls who are attorneys, labeled correctly in the documentary as the slingshot in the David/Goliath story. The same ethic that went into building their lives in America goes into fighting the charges, and fighting for their name. The Sung family is humiliated with staged arrests involving a seemingly endless perp walk with the family chained together. But the lack of action is made up for by the gumption of the accused banking family, whose respect for each other is apparent even as they bicker and interrupt each other over trial strategy, press releases and the catered lunch. The documentary is dry as the details of the case are compiled, with a spare piano and harp score and some highly technical elements as the court case unfolds. So the people - citizens, the press, a documentarian - should step in. No one in the government is looking out for these immigrant bankers. ![]() He makes a good case that the nearly one-sided point of view is necessary. “Hoop Dreams” director Steve James takes a strong point of view - that the Sung family was victimized by a government that protected the strong and made an example of the weak. ![]() I don't even think starting rosters are that important, considering how easily players are purchased. Of course, I have no problems with people starting with werewolves. A 120k rookie with no block, no dodge, AV 8, and no apothecary is asking for it. ![]() Also, unless I skill up a ghoul, wight, or flesh golem, the werewolf will be the biggest target for my opponent. Until the werewolf skills up, the ghoul fits better into my playing style. The biggest advantage that werewolf has as a rookie is his movement. You should be able to realize that often a wight or a ghoul can do the same job as your werewolf for a much lower cost. The key to being a good Blood Bowl coach is flexibility. Frenzy can be used strategically, but it causes turnovers. What happens if your werewolves get knocked out of the game? Do you just concede? Werewolves have three skills: Catch, Claw, and Frenzy. Also, it seems silly to think that you would sit on 120k in the bank. The werewolves are of course a big reason to play a Necromantic team, so never planning to have them would be stupid, but you can't say that I needed them. Better get the Golems later and always keep some cash (120.000gc if possible) in your treasury to replace ww when killed. So starting a team without a ww is IMHO stupid.
